Wellman Cars is a family-run business that was established in 1988. Since then we have grown from 10 drivers to a steady 150 part-time/full-time drivers at present. This makes us the largest private hire company in Hamilton

In March 2019 we were honoured to receive the 'Family Business of the Year' and 'Staff Member of the Year' at the Scottish Taxi & Private Hire Awards.
We followed this up in 2020 winning the 'outstanding achievement award!'
In November 2021 we won our first UK-wide award in the Taxi Summit Awards. We won the Scottish Taxi Company of the Year.
