About Wong Dumplings
Set up by partners Ste and Jensen, who have both spent the majority of their careers in fast-paced restaurants. Wong Dumplings was inspired by Jensen's childhood and heritage of growing up in Hong Kong and Singapore. Our goal was to recreate this speedy and delicious style of street food that is so common on the streets of major Asian cities.
The dumplings are usually served in portions of three and are often ordered alongside our signature salt-and-pepper vegan noodles. We always have at least 4/5 different dumpling fillings, including meat, vegetarian and vegan options which change according to the seasons.
Many other dumpling vendors either steam or deep fry theirs, whilst ours our steamed and then pan-fried giving the bottom of the pastry a crispy crunch while leaving the top delicately steamed.
Typical Clients
Large or smaller events are suitable as we cook the dumplings to order as and when people come up to us and are served very quickly.
