For us, Mexican food is three things: simple, fresh, and bursting with flavour. Sure, Tex-Mex can be satisfying but nobody eats a delectable, traditional Yucatán taco and turns away a second one.

Our menu includes classic soft-shell corn tortillas, filled with slow-cooked meat (or beans for the Veggies/Vegans), topped with fresh salad and home-made salsas.

We've never met a person who didn’t like real Mexican food. In 2010, Mexican food was recognised by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, but we go one step further: we believe that access to this life-changing cuisine should be upgraded to a universal human right. In lieu of a Government-Funded Mexican-Food Relief-Scheme (or GFMFRS) we have taken it upon ourselves to provide this essential service.

Yu-ca-taco’s founding philosophy is to provide high quality traditional Mexican food (to those who might otherwise not have access to it) at an affordable price. We believe in local and responsible food sourcing, especially when it comes to meat, and aim to completely eliminate plastic waste by avoiding single-use plastics.
