The Pizza Van was created to bring the authentic Italian stone baked pizza taste to as many people as possible. Having worked in city centre Italian restaurants for over 10 years The Pizza Van’s chef, Chris, decided to break free from the intense busy kitchen and start making the food he loves, with the passion he has, to show as many people as possible how tasty authentic pizza is.
The pizza van is a unique experience for any occasion, wedding, birthday celebration, food market or festival, we can cater for any venue in our fully mobile 1968 Citroen HY van, imported from France with a full conversion with wood fired oven and all the trimmings…or should we say toppings! bringing that authentic Italian taste with the retro classic look to any event.
All our custom-made menus are designed by Chris to fit any purpose, dietary requirement and budget, whilst aiming to use the most seasonal and locally sourced ingredients, supporting other local business’ and keeping menus seasonal, unique and fresh is one of Chris’ instilled beliefs. We pride ourselves on the highest level of service from the outset, from your first enquiry to service on your big day.

Absolutely delicious and the staff were amazing
This was such a big hit at our wedding! Can’t rate them highly enough. Staff are lovely- communication was excellent. Pizzas absolutely delicious and the van looks cool too. They were fantastic!
Cracking service
Easy to deal with right from the start. Speedy service when they arrived and really good feedback from all our guests; especially my gluten free bride! Would absolutely recommend.
Amazing all round!
Brilliant communication from the start, were very happy to adapt the menu and pricing to suit us. And after that they sorted literally everything - even going to the venue to check where they'd park etc. I didn't have to worry about them at all - they sorted themselves which was a massive weight off my mind and priceless on your wedding day! On the day the van looked really cool, and they were absolutely lovely people. but the pizza was even better!! Honestly, the guests couldn't stop raving about it (even the fussy vegans, who said it was the best vegan pizza they'd ever had). I could not recommend the Pizza Van enough for a wedding - they were amazing and it completed our day perfectly!

Friendly and helpful Staff, great food
The food served at our 25th anniversary party was excellent. The Pizza Van arrived early and were ready to serve at the time requested. The pizzas were delicious and there was always some available for people throughout the evening Service was excellent and staff were friendly.
