What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

For my company to provide a comprehensive quote to a customer, preferable, we will need the event type, event date, a brief explanation of the event, cuisine type preferred, number of guests, services required, for example, either food drop off or venue serving and potential venue and time of the event.
We will also need details of any dietary requirements, from this, we can use our experience and expertise to put together a suitable quote and plan.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

The first piece of advice I will give to a customer looking to hire a provider is to ask about the products and services they provide. The next will be their experiences and any public insurance they have in place.
Ask about the type of services they offer, do they offer just food or food and drinks, do they offer venue serving or food drop offer.
Are there any other extra services they provide such as clearing away rubbish and waiters and waitresses services?

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

Ntriwaa Catering Ltd was born out of passion, I have always offered to cater for my friends and families even as a teenager, I would bring together children from underprivileged homes and cook for them.
In 2015, during my own wedding, I opted to cater for my own big day and the day couldn't have been better seeing my guests enjoying my food.
My passion for cooking and learning about the different food from around the world is the story behind the birth of Ntriwaa Catering Ltd. I want to offer the best authentic food and services at each event

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

There have been a lot of opportunities to tender in a quote, My first booking was catering for Danielle wedding in Camberwell.
The wedding was a small intimate one,
The food we provided was well received, there was a capacity of 60, everybody, ourselves, the bride and groom as well as all guests were very happy
We had another contract for a birthday party from the wedding, I will recommend Add to Event to all my African and Caribbean caterers in the industry as well as anyone needing any company to join to expose their catering business to a wider audience.
