What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

In order for me to provide a quote for a customer, there are a few details that we need such as the event date, whether their event will be at their home or at a venue that they have booked and also the age group range and the number of children who will be attending their event and. Once we have this information we are able to provide our prospective customers with a quote. All of the events that we carry out are tailored to our customer's needs.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Firstly they should make sure that the animal encounters business is fully licenced by their local council so that they are able to carry out events. It's also very important to check that the business has public liability insurance and that they are fully DBS checked because of working with children. I would also highly recommend that they look at reviews about the business that they are thinking about hiring for their event.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

Ever since I was a young child I have always liked animals and for most of my life, I have worked in many different animal-related businesses. I reached a point in my life where I wanted to start my own business and I decided that it would be a great idea to do something that I have always been passionate about. As the oldest child of four, I used to help my mother with my younger siblings quite a lot when I was growing up. I have always liked children so the two coming together seemed to be a great idea for a business for me. I'm a very friendly and sociable person so being involved in a business where I get to meet different types of people is something that I enjoy very much.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

I'm new to Add to Event so still awaiting my first event through this platform.
