What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
For us to provide a detailed quote to a customer we would need to know the event date, the venue, the type of event and how many guests there will be. Once we have this information we will be able to put a comprehensive quote together for you.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Firstly you need to find out if the provider can offer what you are looking for and then if they can, find out in more detail what equipment you are hiring, you will also need to know whether your provider has all the correct insurances for their business.

Devon Sound and Light are a North Devon family run business with well over 20 years of experience, we can offer anything from a small do it yourself PA & Lighting hire to a large disco, we also can offer a silent disco the only one in North Devon, these are becoming increasingly more popular and will make your party stand out from the rest, you can hire just the headsets or a full disco with the headsets and up to 3 different channels of music. We can also do a UV party which comes with full disco and UV face paint, glow sticks and glow bracelets. If you are a solo singer or a band we can also provide all your PA & Lighting needs too.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
We have had quite a few bookings through Add to Event and a wide variety of bookings as well, from weddings to birthday parties and silent discos too. One that stands out the most is a silent disco headset hire we did in South Devon for a wedding held in a Tipi, the customer had set up three different tablets with 3 different types of music, we provided the headsets and showed them how they worked and they were off, it was an amazing night till 2 am in the morning and boy could they party. We have recommended Add to Event to several of our colleagues and other friends as well.
