What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
In order to provide a comprehensive quotation, we need the following information about your event
- Date and time
- Location/postcode
- Type
- Indoor or outdoor
- Number of guests
- Services required with as much information given as possible, for example, if you require a balloon installation please give the approximate size and desired colours
- Duration of event
The more information given the better. This reduces the amount of backwards and forwards and helps us to provide you with a realistic quote first time around.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure you use a trusted supplier in the area of expertise. Ask about their level of experience in events, check that they are fully insured and are affiliated with at least one industry-specific association - this will give you peace of mind that you can trust the supplier to deliver what they are promising, on time and within budget, and that they are fully covered in the event of any unforeseen circumstances.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
BB Event Styling was born out of over 20 years of experience delivering worldwide corporate events. Jo (and Covid) decided that travelling the world wasn’t for her anymore and she wanted to bring a touch of glamour to at home parties and provide that all-important “wow factor” to people’s personal celebrations at an affordable price.
