AcSiA- Live Band are an upbeat band and play a variety of tunes from all eras for all ears! They can also supply a live DJ to add to any event and keep parties rocking. Read on for their top tip on finding the best band for your event.
What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
For us to provide a perfectly tailored quote for you we would like to know firstly if there are any stairs to where we would be setting up, if so is there a lift provided.
Is there anywhere for the band members to get changed and freshen up other than a toilet!
Is there a sound limiter at the venue that will possibly restrict your enjoyment as live music needs to be heard.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I would always if possible try and get to see the act you are booking live as this is what they will sound like on the day.
There are many bands who have recordings professionally made to make them sound the best they can. A live version of that band is not always what you would expect.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
AcSiA started our band primarily to cater to the wedding industry. We have seen a lot of bands over the years that play one style and thought and a wedding you need to be able to cater for all ears and all ages. That is exactly what we do. we are very proud of the sound we get and the recognition and praise we get after a gig.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
We are relatively new to Add to Event so have not had any bookings as of yet. We have however just started quoting and are getting lots of enquiries through. We can see there is lots of opportunity with Add to Event to increase our bookings year on year. We will definitely be staying with Add to Event for the foreseeable future.
