What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
To provide a comprehensive quote to a customer, we need the event date and time, what type of event it is, how many guests, the location of the event and whether it is an indoor or outdoor event. When we have these details we are able to put together a suitable live performance and equipment set up.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I would recommend listening or if possible going and watching the band perform live, however, this may not be easy to do, so make sure you are happy with their videos. Make sure you view their live footage videos, not just their showcase video. Find out what sound equipment they can provide, and that it will be suitable for the size of your venue.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
We at Night Patrol have been musicians for most of our lives, we love nothing more than playing and performing to an audience to show off the skills we have through dedicated practise in mastering our instrument. We have been performing across the UK for over 15 years, and just love doing what we do, and as long as we still have it, we will flaunt it.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
The best booking we have had would be a wedding in Hull. The bride and Groom, and their guests were so welcoming and enjoyed the band, we didn't want to stop. Add to Event are a fantastic company to work with, very easy to communicate with, and they care for both the supplier and the client, to ensure customer satisfaction across the board.
