What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
Where the event is and the type of event are the first things we need to know. Next, it's the number of guests I would be playing to and what type of music you'd like played. Finally, the budget spend and what equipment you would want me to use.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
When looking for a provider, check out the profile page, the website and reviews. Then ask about the process or procedure for the day of the event, this will give you an idea of how professionally run the event will be run. Ask about the price and if this includes everything, with no extras on top. What type of equipment will be used and what music they specialise in.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
I DJ'ed in several clubs and bars for over 15 years but had to stop as I have two young children.
My weekends were spent with family so DJing until the early hours was not good!
I branched out to weddings a couple of years ago after helping a friend and it just expanded from there!
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
I'm quite new to Add to Event but as soon as I joined I was inundated with lots of requests for DJing quotes in my area.
