What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
For us to provide a comprehensive quote to a customer, ideally we need the event date and location. Times the event is to start and finish. Also any particular music tastes is always helpful in advance.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
There is nothing like experience so don’t be afraid to ask how long they’ve been providing their service and what sort of events they have played at.
We always advise getting at least 3 quotes.
Never opt for the cheapest however tempting, you get what you pay for and may be disappointed for the sake of a bit more money.

I couldn’t possibly select just one event I’ve done there are so many that come to mind for different reasons.
We did a private birthday party on board a river steamer in Stourport on the Severn during carnival day, it was a really enjoyable event.
Everyone had a great night including us.
