What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

To enable Barbie King to provide a competitive quote we would ideally require the event location, date, type of event, how many people, time of serving required for caterers is power/water available.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

We always recommend customers to ask suppliers where they source their products, how old is their set up, do they have the staff or is it the owners who work. Check reviews from previous customers.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

Barbie King was set up from "bar talk to fruition". We have been mobile caterers for many years now and really enjoy what we do. One day we were talking with friends in a bar and decided it would be so much fun cooking and serving customers from the same level and having fun where the customers can join in with the banter, etc.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

We are new to Add to Event so we are still awaitng our first confirmed bookings as of yet but we're hoping they will soon be flying in.
