What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

For us to provide a comprehensive BBQ quote to a customer, ideally we need the event date, a brief explanation of the type of event they are hosting, the estimated number of guests, potential venue, and whether it's an indoor or outdoor event. From this, we can use our experience and expertise to put together a suitable equipment list and design.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

We started the BBQ catering business as a way of getting some extra income, but in the last 6 years it has grown and grown. It's hard work but a lot of fun!

We have done quite a few events and I would recommend it to get bookings. It's a great way to fill any gaps you may have in your schedule, and is a great way to spread your reputation whether you're an old or a new business.
