What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

To provide the most comprehensive quote we need to know the event date, nature of the event, level of service you require, an estimate of the numbers you expect, venue details and dietary requirements. Using all this information we will be able to provide you with the most accurate quote which includes all of our costs, nothing hidden.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

I would recommend that you ask them about why they do what they do. You want someone who is passionate about their job and for them to bring that to your event. I would also ask what are their personal favourites from the menu, again food made with passion tastes far superior. The last thing I would enquire is how far in advance they prepare the food, as a supplier I want everything I serve as fresh as can be - nothing frozen. It makes the world of difference.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

Rogue Kitchen started as a passion project between myself and a close friend and colleague. We spent many years in gastropubs and always knew that we could deliver the same quality, directly and at better value. We finally took the plunge this year and haven't looked back since! Good food, great drinks and wonderful company has always been my passion and Rogue kitchen provides me with an opportunity to celebrate all three.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

We have had many bookings so far from Add to Event, lets's take a look at the latest one.
Gods own Junkyard is an incredible venue in Walthamstow that our clients hired for a celebration which was affectionately known as "the party for no reason" and frankly who needs a reason these days.
Our clients were wonderful people and booked very early on when we had just joined the platform, naturally, they were a little nervous as we had no reviews as yet but we invited them along for a tasting and the rest was history. The venue was very accommodating and allowed us to set up outside and we created a street food set up for all the 60 party guests which they loved.
Burgers and beers may be an easy sell, but when its done correctly its pretty hard to beat. This was one of those times.
Add to Event is a great platform for securing jobs, it provides security and transparency to the customer and a huge amount of opportunities to suppliers. We are very happy using the service and will continue to do so and will recommend it to anyone.
