What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

To provide the best quote for a customer it would be important for us to know the estimated number of guests attending the event, the date of the event and the location. It would also be good to hear a little bit about the event, whether it be a wedding, birthday party, corporate or family fun day. With this information we can use our own knowledge of the industry to provide the customer with a reliable and professional service.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

We would recommend the customer enquire about the provider's product in detail, things like how its sourced and whether its sourced locally plays a big factor in peoples decisions nowadays. We pride ourselves on the traceability of our beef and we deal with our supplier on a personal level, enabling us to provide the customer with a product that we can trust.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

Whats Your Beef was founded on a vision of bringing proper tasty burgers to the people of Manchester! Back in 2014 we spent time in London and did a lot of research on the street food scene, we quickly realised that Manchester didn't have anything close to what London had. Soon the vision became reality and we kicked off trading in March 2015. Starting at the weekly Levenshulme Market we quickly spread our wings across Manchester and Cheshire, now into our 3rd year of trading we're held in high regard around the north west and can confidently say we are one of the country's best burgers!

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

We had a great last minute event, and when I say last minute - I mean it was Tuesday and they wanted us serving the next day! That was a bit of a shock but we managed, and it was great, very different from the norm as we were serving a team of men programming the new offshore wind farm in Birkenhead. The manager wanted to treat his team as the job was coming to a close and boy, did they have a treat! Don't think they were expecting what they got - they were all very impressed. We're expecting another job with the same firm soon because the manager enjoyed the food so much! We have recommended Add to Event to all of our fellow traders, some of whom I know have signed up already! Its only early days for us on this site yet but already we're getting a lot of attention and we look forward to what the future brings!
