Able to operate at any venue from a 5-star hotel to an open field, Lifestyle Catering are able to operate with little or no kitchen infrastructure and are totally self-sufficient, meaning they can handle everything on their end which frees up the host to be where they are needed most - with their guests. Where possible, all ingredients are locally sourced so that everything from buffets to canapes can be both delicious and help the local community at the same time.

What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

The key things for us to know are the style of event we would be catering for, the event date and time, the potential venue and the number of guests. We excel at servicing venues with little or no kitchen infrastructure and are pretty self-sufficient requiring a minimum of additional equipment.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

We would recommend you ask the provider how much experience they have in providing the services they offer. Where does their main level of expertise lie and what service do they like providing the most? Have they won any awards or prizes as a caterer? Also, it's important that they understand about providing different dietary requirements - for example gluten free options.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

Lifestyle Catering was born out of a desire to provide real food that we ourselves would be delighted to eat. We like to incorporate as much local produce as possible and support local farmers and suppliers where feasible. Our meats in particular include the amazing Jersey beef from Woodlands Jersey Beef in the Meon Valley. We love to tailor-make a menu to our customers' requirements and are as happy providing service in a field as in a hotel environment!

Add to Event has been a fantastic revelation! It's the perfect first stop to gain access to trusted suppliers who offer a quality service. We have had so many invitations to quote for exciting events and it's great to hear about really local opportunities to us. We love that we are able to impress with our own style of quotes and photos and reach many more people than before.
