What a Day Entertainment offers fire and danger sprinkled with comedy, a juggling duo, stilt walkers that also offer circus workshops. Based, but not limited to Cornwall and Devon.
What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
For most efficient booking experience for customers, we certainly think that providing such details as location, times , expected attendance and theme of the event. It will ensure that we can straight away know what's expected and be quick with breakdown and replying to know how we can work together. The budget of an event, highly important for quick and efficient communication and moving on organising event.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Definitely ask the provider about their experience. Make sure you are clear in communication of what you want and expect and if they can provide accordingly. Ask about lists of services that can be provided for example you are after a juggling show, but a performer comes with an abundance of other fun mesmerising skills such as fire performances or workshops.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
What a Day events and services, came about from our love of circus skills and all the weird and beautiful things we've seen since being involved, we ran away from the circus to do our little fun and games performances, travel and do what we love.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
One of our first gigs came about through Add to Event actually, which we were extactic for it. Communication was simple and one thing led to another and we came about delivering and mostly enjoying ourselves an amazing day out with activities, stiltwalking, workshops and juggling shows. What there is not to love!! And most amazing thing about the platform is gaining new clients and returning clients, now our first ever booking is reaching out and want our services again! Its a great feeling.
