What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

To allow us to provide a competitive and realistic quote, we would require the following information as a minimum - Event type, Event date, Number of guests, Indoor or Outdoor bar required and if Electricity/Water are available. With this information we can look to tailor a response to meet your minimum requirements, potentially creating further discussions detailing the exact needs for your special event. Using our knowledge and experience we will ensure all bases are covered and your event is enjoyed by all.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

One of my first questions to ask would be, ' How long have you been in the trade? and ask for previous examples of events they have catered for, detailing specific requirements, guest numbers, feedback etc. Feedback goes a long way, whether it be positive or negative. Your provider should put you first and be honest as to what they can and cannot provide, not make it out as they can provide everything and anything. Good communication skills are a must, after all, they are here to provide you with a service suited to your day, so all aspects must be covered and all questions answered. A good provider in my opinion would always make you feel special, not only as a customer but become a friend also.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

All Bar None Events Bar was formerly Toppers Events Bar. We created a new partnership in 2019 with fresh thoughts and ideas and even made the decision to convert our haulage trailer into the bar itself. It was a lightbulb moment at one event when we were struggling to load the trailer after a long night, the idea of turning up to a field in the middle of nowhere, dropping the tail and serving pints was born. Over 10 years of mobile bar experience coupled with engineering skills has allowed us to be able to create a fantastic looking bar, manned with knowledge and happiness, that can cater for all needs.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

I have mentioned Add to Event more and more recently since we started having more enquires into the bar. We have only had one confirmed booking through the platform but that one event allowed us to get our name recognized and spoken about, which led to more bookings. The one event in question was for a private function at a guest house. Although the owner had a licensed bar, he was unable to cater for the volume of guests attending. We were selected after having plenty of conversations with the organizer. Great evening under a marquee with live music and entertainment. Everyone had a good time and were very complimentary of the bar setup. We are now pushing to get more events using Add to Event.
