Tin Cup Coffee
Tin Cup Coffee provides a quirky, speciality coffee shop operating from a beautifully converted vintage horsebox. The horse box has been lovingly renovated to the highest standard to look perfect at your event. Based in Luton the full barista experience is available to hire for all events such as weddings, promotional launches, garden parties, corporate events etc.
What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
Hi there. In order for us to provide you with a comprehensive quote, we could do with a little more info from yourselves. We would need to know the location and type of event. The number of expected guests. If there is access to mains power and fresh water. How long you need us for and finally how you would like to pay. You can pay upfront for an all-inclusive barista experience or pay as you go option. That’s about it.... so get in touch and we can sort the rest out between us.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
A lot of people can make hot drinks and a lot of people serve sub-standard coffee beans. That isn’t us. We are fully trained baristas and we have personally selected the bean which we serve. Accept no imitations. Check out reviews and ask lots of questions about the product they are planning to serve and how.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
We love coffee and we love meeting and talking to people. I started Tin Cup as a hobby to bring great quality coffee to events. When I saw the horsebox I knew I wanted to add that quirky touch.
The rest is history, the response has been amazing.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
The first event we ever did was a wedding event at a ruins in Kent. We had selected the bean with the newlyweds and agreed what other drinks we would serve. The look and feel of the vintage horsebox worked a treat and Tin Cup looked amazing, we added bunting that fitted in with the wedding theme and fairy lights in the evening completed the look. It was absolutely amazing and we loved every minute of it.
