What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

To be able to provide an accurate quote for you we just need to know where your event is, when it is and how long you think you will need us for! We'd also like to know how many guests we will be serving so we can bring enough milk and coffee! If you are paying for the drinks on behalf of your guests then we will need to know the number of guests so we can quote you for those drinks.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

It's best to ask the provider about the service they provide so you know exactly what you will get for your money and that it will suit your needs. I am more than happy to change my services somewhat to suit a client, for example, if there will be lots of children at your event I would provide 'babychinos' so the kids get a slice of the coffee trailer action too! Just ask the supplier, if they can make the day better for you then they will!

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

Spending time in New Zealand made my love for coffee and 'Flat Whites' grow! I am also a keen mountain biker and everyone knows how much cyclists love coffee. I started Boost Coffee Co., initially to attend cycling events and provide great quality coffee and a friendly service. The company has grown and grown and we now attend many different events and parties, although sports events are still our first love!

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

The last event we booked through Add to Event was the Cardiff Uni Try a Tri, a one-day triathlon even for first-timers. We had great fun serving coffee to competitors and spectators overlooking the outside velodrome in the winter sun - perfect!
