What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
For us to provide an accurate quotation we would need the following information:-
Type of event, number of guests, indoor or outdoor venue and where it is being held. If the function room is on the ground floor or not and the name of the venue and the area. The timings i.e 7:00 PM to 12:00 AM etc.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Check out reviews, pictures and videos, to see if they look professional. See if it mentions how much experience the DJ's have. Don't just book with somebody because they are cheap as you may be disappointed. Ask if they have Insurance (PLI) and PAT Testing Certificates.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
Since a very early age I have loved music. After opening my mobile DJ service, I auditioned and
moved onto working as a resident DJ in Nightclubs for about 30 years, and have also worked for an agency at various pubs throughout London.
I started TRAX with a view to providing a truly smart and professional service with added value and a good choice of packages that represent amazing value for money and focus on what the customer wants. Our state of the art event planning system allows clients to plan their whole party including music requests.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
I worked a corporate event recently provided by Add to Event. It was a very successful night and incorporated a quiz with music clips. It was a great night and although there were not many people, I still had them all dancing.
