What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

The most important factors for a basic quote is the date, location, event duration and type of event. We can then build a quote using this information, and offer the customer additional services which can bolt on to the price of the basic package.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Speak to the supplier over the phone to ensure both parties are on the same page. Ensure this is done before any money is transferred. Read testimonials and reviews, and make the most of the material the supplier has created (social media pages and websites).

SBDJ services began as a favour to a friend and have now grown to supply all types of services for all types of event. It allows me to work in the industry I am passionate about and lets me be creative in showcasing my services to customers. Being affordable and reliable can sometimes be a rarity, so it's amazing to receive such positive comments from our customers after making the most of our services.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

I’ve had many bookings through Add to Event, many of which were high profile and slightly different to others I have attended. One was at a store opening in the intu Trafford Centre, Manchester. I played for thousands of customers who came in and passed the store, and it was a great way to promote my own name and showcase my equipment and services. The shop was very complimentary about both my choice of music, and my equipment, and it was a very positive experience thanks to Add to Event!
