What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

For us to provide a comprehensive quote, ideally we need the start and finish times. This allows us to arrange with the venue or yourselves access to set up to be ready before your start time. Also if you have a playlist of must-play songs. You do not miss out on your favorite songs but give us an insight into what other music you and your guest like.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

If you are booking a wedding, ideally book 6 to 12 months ahead. The more desirable dates in the summer go quickly.

If the date of your event is Monday to Thursday you are more likely to find a DJ with availability at shorter notice.

IDJ4YOU was started by Martin and Simon to provide good quality, reliable and professional DJ services. Both former Club DJs (and on occasion) we wanted to bring our skills from the club to weddings, parties and corporate events.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

We did a joint 30th birthday in December in Solihull. it was a great atmosphere. We played a mix of the playlist given in advance and some Christmas tunes. We even went past the original finish time they were having that much fun. These are the kinds of events that make our day and why we DJ.
