What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
My advice when looking for a disco/DJ. Look at event pictures to see if the set-up looks tidy at events where it should. Outdoor events may be harder to hide wiring but events that are hosted indoor should be clean and tidy.
Try to interact with the potential DJ as you can really tell if they are a happy DJ or one that would just press play and stop all night with no form of interaction if the crowd.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
I have always loved music. but I got into DJing because of my daughter.
I played some music at her 4th birthday many years ago and I was actually asked how much do I charge.
I replied saying I'm just her dad I don't do it professionally.
But I had the idea and it stuck so it all began from there.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
I have had plenty of bookings through Add to Event pre lockdown and they all went fantastically.
