What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

In order for us to be able to provide the most accurate quote we can - we need a date, tentative times, a brief description of the event, the type of staff you need, the number of staff and a brief description of what duties you will need from them. If all this is provided, we can give you the best possible quote we can give!

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Do your due diligence! Check out the company's website and if the don't have one - ask for them to send you a proposal to show their abilities. If you are looking for an entertainer, for example, a fire eater, ask for pictures or a video from the agency to know that they have experience in staffing them and that you are paying for a service from a company that knows how to give you the best!

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

While in my placement year in school, I worked as a manager at a promotional staffing agency and moved on to work 5 additional years in an similar role at a different agency. I saw a gap in the quality of staff being brought onto roles and wanted to fill that gap with high quality, experienced staff through my own business. So come 2012 - I decided to create my own business with a roster of strong, talented staff and entertainers!

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

Add to Event has been a blessing for our business. It has brought us directly to booking dozens of jobs within the first few weeks and is constantly adding to our business every day. One booking that has just passed was for a last-minute corporate event that needed an additional waiting staff. The person who hired us runs their own hospitality company but being new, needed a bit of help with staff cover.
