What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
To provide a comprehensive quote we need to know the date, and time if you know it, of your event, as well an explanation of their requirements as detailed as possible, such as information about the event and what they hope to get from a supplier. The number of guests, themes, indoor or outdoor, and a budget if relevant.
This allows us to understand the amount of work we need to put into the job, costs and staff requirements.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Ask questions! All of our jobs are unique, no two events, parties or workshops are ever the same. We are confident our work is of a high standard, and we are knowledgeable about our products.
Provide plenty of information... a lack of information generally means we don’t even look at a job, as we don’t want to waste money on irrelevant enquiries.

Initiate Theatre is run by industry professionals that are passionate about the things they do! We love learning and growing and keeping our work lives fresh, fun and entertaining!
Starting out in workshops and training for schools and students, a necessary product for those wanting to learn, we have now grown into shows, events, entertainment and parties!
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
We’ve had some great bookings this year through Add to Event, one of our best would be a double booking that took place in December... touring our pantomime around venues. The audiences were great fun, the staff all wonderful. These people provide an amazing service, as volunteers, for the local community... and have rebooked for next year! We look forward to working with them again!
