What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Please ensure that you ask the provider if they are a professional face painter and if they have public liability insurance. Your children’s skin is very precious and it’s important that only professional cosmetic grade products are used that conform to FDA guidelines.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

As a mum of 3, I started out face painting my own children and discovered that not only did I love it, but was good enough to turn it into a business. I love painting ‘smiles’ ... which is how I describe my job. Anyone of any age can enjoy a bit of extra colour and sparkle.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

Add to Event is a great platform and I have recommended to many people. I have had several bookings through Add to Event and, my favourite was a customer whose guests were having so much fun getting painted, I ended up staying twice as long as they originally asked for. The adults were having so much fun being painted and glittered, they were even singing, ‘a lion sleeps tonight’ whilst I painted one of them like a lion. It was the most fun I’ve ever had at an event!
