The Lincolnshire Fryer
The Lincolnshire Fryer is a family run business providing traditional fish & chips and bouncy castle hire to events throughout Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire. The fish & chips are served from their specially converted and newly renovated trailer, with vegetarian and gluten free options available. The inflatable castles and slides can accommodate both children and adults.
What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
To provide a comprehensive quote we need to know the amount of guests, both adults and children. The location, the date and time of the service and also a rough guide of what food is required is also useful. Once we have these, we can work out a price per head.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
The advice I would give for customers looking to hire a service is to look for reviews from previous customers to get an idea of quality of food and service provided by the company. Then I would ask if they can provide options to cater for all guests eg. vegetarians or gluten free.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
We came to start this business by purchasing it from the people that were already operating it on a part time basis. Then we expanded the menu and looked for additional work which soon came in so we replaced our original unit for a new one then purchased an additional one last year to cope with demand.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
We have catered for many private events weddings, parties etc, plus public events through Add to event. All have been a pleasure to cater for with repeat bookings from quite a few and very nice comments in reviews which is always good for potential customers to read.
