What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

We would like as detailed information as possible to provide a comprehensive quote to our potential clients including the date and time, the name and address of the venue, the number of guests, the type of food required, any dietary requirements, budget, whether mains power can be provided or not, and if there is any theme for the event then we will be able to tailor our services to your requirements as the best we can :)

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

When you decide to hire a provider there are many things to consider but you want to be as specific as possible. Whether you like a modern or vintage style, a van or a gazebo etc. We offer various items including crepes, waffles, ice cream, cakes, hot/cold drinks, afternoon tea and even Japanese curry but everything we have is vegetarian friendly as it's our company ethos.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

Tearoom Bambi was born Aug 2022. I always loved baking and also loved giving and sharing my bakes so having my own business selling my food seems like a fantastic idea! My mission is to make people smile with my creations so everything I sell has a touch of cuteness in them :) So even our curry is super cute ;) When I hear the word "So cute" I know that I did a good job again :D

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

I only started using this site a few months ago but have had many inquiries since and secured a handful of jobs! One of them was serving 300 portions of ice cream to students of Oxford Uni and it was so lovely! We had so much great feedback from them saying how cute our van is and how sweet it is to have us at the event, and of course about our delicious ice cream!
I would totally recommend this site and believe that it's the best site for getting jobs for private/corporate events as a caterer :)
