What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
For us to provide a comprehensive quote to a customer, ideally we need the event date, a brief explanation of the type of event they are hosting, the estimated number of guests, and potential venue, whether it's an indoor or outdoor event. Also if there is power available and the ages of the players would be helpful.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
The first question you should ask is what experience do that’d have in providing action packed games. It’s easy to provide the equipment but to control a nerf game or combat archery so everyone has fun only comes from experience.
Are they first aid trained, do they have insurance and do they carry out sensible risk assessments before play. No one likes to leave with an injury so safety is key.
And lastly make sure to ask about game time. You don’t want to pay for 2 hours of play only to find out this includes set up, take down and breaks.

Area 50 Fun was created out of a passion for fun!
I have been to many paintball and nerf parties and although very fun they were hard to organise and get too. Also very costly!
I wanted to make something fun and exciting that you could play at your village hall or a local field. That way all your friends and family can play together and help support the local services which sadly are disappearing from our towns and villages.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
One of my clients wanted to play battletag archery after the day of their wedding.
We set up in a field where most of the wedding guests were camping.
A few were a little hungover but once they started shooting eachother they soon got into the hunger games spirit!
Everyone had a fantastic time and it was a real pleasure to help someone’s magical day that much better.
