What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

For the Tipsy Gee Gee to provide a full comprehensive quote to a customer, we ideally require, the date of the event, time of the event, duration of the event, an explanation of the event type, estimated number of guests, we also require to know there is access for us to drive the trailed into the required place of the bar. We can then use our years of hospitality knowledge to provide a full quote.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Advise for a customer hiring a mobile bar would be, ask the supplier about their products, why they chose those products, ask them about their personal license and organising TENS notices, you do not want to hire a bar without the correct legal documents. Ask them about personalising the menu to suit your taste, a good bartender will have knowledge and passion about the drinks they serve and should be able to advise you.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

The Tipsy Gee Gee was bought one evening during lockdown, when a Richardson horse trailer was listed on Facebook marketplace, it was lovingly converted over time and her first outing was to our wedding. I have several years of hospitality knowledge in busy pubs and venues and am a personal license holder. I have a passion for cocktails and gins and we serve a very wide variety on the Tipsy Gee Gee
