What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
To provide a comprehensive quote we need the event date, a brief description of the type of event they are hosting, the estimated number of guests and the venue, whether its indoors or our. From this, we can use our experience and expertise to put together a quote for you.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Firstly ask what they are offering. Does it suit your requirements? If so ask if the service can be tailored to you and your event, one so you know you are getting exactly what you want and two it will help them put together a package to suit you and your needs. Secondly, ask what experience they have, have they catered for large weddings before? Do they have the staff and equipment to do so?
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
Peggy Sue's was formed on a love for all things hospitality, especially bars! After many years working in hospitality and managing a town pub It was always my dream to own one but I just didn't want to leave the wedding industry, the buzz and love I have for helping to make someone's big day perfect. So what better than a bar on wheels... I can literally take my bar anywhere, to any event in almost any location. The perfect solution. I wanted to bring a quirky bar solution to life so with that as my focus Peggy Sue's came to life.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
I am new to this platform but it has been highly recommended by others who have had lots of success using it. I'm looking forward to using it to gain lots of future bookings.
