What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

Hot Tub Hires from us tend to be for a weekend (from Thursday to Monday), midweek (Monday to Thursday) or a full week from Monday to Monday. Giving us an event date allows us to see which of these your criteria fits into. We also require a power and water source within a certain area, so a commitment to being able to provide these means that we are always able to give a confident quotation. Indicating whether the power and water source are indoors or outdoors is also incredibly useful.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

When hiring hot tubs, as a customer I would always ask to see a copy of the company's public liability insurance. There are lots of hirers out there who don’t have policies in place, as the customer, you have a right to see it and more importantly, check its validity and the amount to which they are covered. It’s also important to check whether the company add a premium for extras that you may think to be standard. For simplicity, we offer our spacious gazebos, floating Bluetooth speakers, foam flooring, garment rail and gazebo lights as standard - but not all companies do, so double check what the offering is before you agree to hire.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

Horsham Hot Tub Hire is a venture we created after hiring a hot tub ourselves. We had a wonderful experience with a very friendly company, but we identified ways we could make the service better. I always think that these make the very best businesses, not necessarily an original idea - but seeing how you can offer additional benefits and happiness to customers. Premium customer service and being at the end of the phone is equally important to us.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

We are relatively new to the Add to Event platform but I would highly recommend it to everybody in the events industry. In an age where everybody is fighting to get their name in front of customers, it’s so refreshing to be able to have the customer requests come to us.
We have two or three confirmed bookings coming up for Add to Event customers and look forward to providing a premium service to customers in the coming months and years.
One of these is a birthday party - and we’ll do our utmost to ensure that the young lady has a special and memorable birthday celebration.
