What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

For us to provide a comprehensive quote, we ideally need to know the event date, the event location, the number of guests and the type of event (i.e. whether it is for children or adults. We also need reassurance that there is access to water and electricity nearby.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

The most important things to look for when hiring a hot tub are the quality of the equipment, the correct insurance and the cleanliness of the equipment. For example, I would want to make sure the hot tub receives a thorough clean and disinfect in between uses.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

Turbo Tubs was born out of a desire to improve staycation opportunities during the pandemic. I had worked in events and customer service previously and saw an opportunity to improve staycation opportunities whilst foreign holidays are difficult to organise. I wanted to create the opportunity to bring a bit of luxury to customers back gardens.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

Our first booking was absolutely fantastic. The customer had booked a hot tub as a surprise for her children to celebrate the beginning of the school holidays. She was absolutely delighted with the service and the children loved the hot tub and all of the inflatable toys provided alongside it.
