What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

In order to provide a comprehensive quote, we require key information from the organiser. This includes the date, timing of the event, number of guests, any issues with accessing the venue, parking facilities, any theming required for the event - as we provide free theming, any dietary requirements - as we can cater for those who have certain allergies such as dairy allergies. Also anything with respect to what time we need to set up by. Sometimes, we set up a long time before service is required.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

I would suggest that the customer looks at the types of clients the provider has worked with and to look at their pictures to ensure what they are hiring is what they are after and most of all, to speak to the provider. Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

We started our business in ice cream carts, because we have always wanted to enter this area. However, our goal has been to expand this and therefore now offer photobooths, chocolate fountains, candy carts, large signs (such as LOVE Signs), garden games, close up magicians, DJs and dance floors, lookalikes, catering -
the list goes on. In fact, we even do a wider event management now.

We recently had an event where we provided an ice cream cart & photobooth - which seems to be a very popular package. We would thoroughly recommend Add to Event to both providers and hirers because it filters for providers and matches them to what the hirer is seeking.
