When looking to book an Ice Cream Van you should be asking the following questions.
1. Are you Registered for Food Hygiene and what is your Rating?
2. Do you hold Full Public Liability Insurance?
3. Do you hold Food Hygiene Certificates?
4. Do you use Fresh Mix not UHT Long Life which a lot of vans use?
5. Can we inspect the inside of your van for cleanliness?
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
We're a husband and wife business and started trading in 2016, we bought our first Ice Cream van and learnt the trade very quickly, sadly through lots of equipment failure and huge expense. We persevered and worked really hard to make our business very successful and had a brand new Ice Cream Van built-in 2018. We pride ourselves on cleanliness and gained a Five Star Food Hygiene Rating in 2019.
We're extremely friendly and approachable and get booked up very quickly during the summer therefore if you would like to book us please get in touch as soon as possible.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
We have had many successful events booked through Add To Event and several really good reviews which we're really happy with. Our favourite event so far through this platform was a corporate summer BBQ event where the employees were able to invite their families. Everybody has such a lovely time including the children who they had set up bouncy castles and other entertainment for, we were also invited to the BBQ to help ourselves, to a beautiful lunch which was very unexpected, and we were made to feel very welcome and part of the event. We allowed the Management into the van to try and pull ice creams which everybody had fun watching and it was a great day.
