What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
For a thorough quotation we need the date and location, the available access time, the time to be set up by and the operating hours. The more precise, the better in the initial stages - no one wants an
increase in price when timings change. Also try and be specific on equipment required or alternatives that would be considered if you are looking for a package price, as there are various types of inflatable fun in our repertoire.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Call the provider for advice, even if you end up booking elsewhere. With us, anyone is free to come in and see the equipment at our office or talk to previous clients. Also, remember that sometimes the cheapest isn't always the best. Ask what types of games they have, eg gladiator duel, bouncy castle or bungee runs.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
We set up with the aim of offering a professional service to the entertainment industry. After 15 years of growth we have settled at a healthy level now - big enough to cope, small enough to care. You will always have someone to talk to at the office who will know about your event. We look after all of our customers.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
Although most of our customers are the corporate market, we have such an extensive selection of
equipment we use Add to Event to offer our service to weddings and parties. The leads are of a good quality. We always offer the same quality service to a company fun day and a 30th birthday party.
