What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
For us to provide a quote we ideally need the date of event, times required (from and til), and the venue location. We can use this information to provide you with a no-obligation quote. If you have any extra information such as number of guests, please do let us know.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure you know what equipment a supplier brings to the event. Such as speakers, microphones, screens, booths and lighting. It is useful to know what experience they have also. Finally, check for any reviews they have received.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
MC Karaoke was formed by a DJ and aspiring singer. Our love for hosting events and entertaining translated into a karaoke business. With over 18 years experience in the music gig industry, we have found a passion in karaoke and hope to one day open our own karaoke bar.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
Our most recent event was via Add To Event. It was an amazing pop star-themed 30th birthday. Everyone was dressed up as their favourite singers and many of them were actually professional singers and tribute acts! It's fair to say the standard of karaoke that evening was up there with the best we have seen. But not only were the voices amazing, the main thing was the fun everyone was having, each singer had the crowd singing along with them. We would definitely recommend Add To Event to others looking to find work in their area.
