What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

The Prop Place can provide a comprehensive quote if you are able to provide the following details: locations of the event, estimated guest number, run time duration, desired package style, event type, power source availability and appropriate spacing. Once we are aware of everything regarding your event we can understand which package would be best suited and work together to capture your special moments.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Ask about the fine details! Do they ensure the camera is in focus, will they be happy to ask guests to move to ensure better quality photos? Will they question where to put the booth, ensuring you have a suitable background for your photos? Ask if the booth is going to be left for your own use or will it be manned, would you want the printer to run out of ink halfway through your special event and you have to worry about contacting the supplier for more? I doubt it! If the booth is manned they can ensure your guests are looking directly into the camera and not looking like there are some wandering eyes going on!

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

The Prop Place is a newly established business. With being social individuals we love seeing/ attending any event no matter the size. The magic mirror is different to your normal photography, we can create fun and humour photos on your own accord, either with or without props. We are yet to attend an event where guests haven't come away laughing or not taking more than one photo! The Prop Place also has more to offer but this is currently in the making... shh, watch this space!

We are honest... The Prop Place is new here! We are yet to gain a booking through 'Add to Event' but we are hoping this can change very soon!
