What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
In order to provide a quotation we require the following information please. The date of the event, type of event (wedding for example), area/location & number of guests. We will then put together a list of options for you to choose accordingly, depending on your budget.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Look for a local, established supplier and certainly one that comes recommended. Speak to them first and arrange a no-obligation site survey, as first impressions really are very important - especially when renting event furniture. For caterers, look for a bespoke company that uses using local, sustainable produce.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
TML Tents & Events developed from a Marquee Hire supplier to establish itself as an events and party planning company, simply out of a passion for what it does. The staff are what makes TML so special with their hard work and attention to detail. We really know our business and the bespoke event catering arm really came from James' love of good food. We care about what you put inside your body - our produce is always responsibly sourced and sustainable using fresh ingredients from local, organic suppliers.

It's a great site and the leads we get are proper leads. It is probably the source of the majority of our work. I recommend this site to everybody due to it's diversity & comprehensive range of suppliers. It really is an invaluable business tool for this industry.
