What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Our core business is the provision of any drink. We prefer to offer quality and interesting drinks and have an onboard Bean to Cup Machine with which we can create tasty drinks. We prefer to use local and ethically produced stock, which is a healthy option as well where possible. Ask those quoting to clarify their own ethics, are they flexible to stay longer should this be required.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

Looking to combine my love of travel and people with the enjoyment of hospitality, a close friend on hearing of my dilemma suggested a mobile bar, this prompted a prolonged conversation over a few drinks. A little later I looked at a few options and realising that I would need a "USP" I started browsing the web, instantly being attracted to the Citroen HY Van, realised that this would be a perfect choice. Running the idea past my family and friends I decided that this was the way forward. Looking for the "right " model took a few months. An initial enquiry with a dealer in Holland found a model that looked suitable, however, a request to the local Citroen Garage to check the brakes established an issue with the chassis. They did see another vehicle that was sound and one offer later a deal was established. In December 2012 I flew to Amsterdam and caught a few efficient trains to get to my destination. Having had the brakes checked and fully serviced by Citroen. I drove cautiously back the next day, travelling 700+ miles on a wing & a prayer, managing to get up onto the ferry put a smile on my face. Then a 16 month Restoration commenced and we did our 1st event in April 2014. My partner in crime Jo Cerise and I thoroughly enjoy every event we do and are always looking forward to the next.

We are new to this platform, but our 1st event at Leavesden Country Park nr. Watford was a very busy day and thoroughly enjoyable
