What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
In order for us to provide an in-depth response to a customer we would like to know the date of the event, what type of event it is, the location, expected number of guests and what they ideally want from a bar; free bar, tab bar, pay as you drink bar. This way we can tailor our response accordingly.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Be as specific as you can so that the responses are specific. That way you can then contact people who have exactly what you are after. Quiz the provider as much as you want in order to ensure you get who you want!
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
Benedict's Bar is a mobile bar which began from a love of events and two friends wanting to do something they love! We have converted the horse box to an incredibly high standard and only serve drinks we would want to drink ourselves! We tailor everything we do to each individual customer.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
We were booked for a christening which was an amazing day! It was fun, atmospheric and a joy to attend. Everyone loved the bar and couldn't say a bad word about it! We have since been booked by this client for another event. We recommend Add to Event to all suppliers we meet. It gives you a chance to get your name out there whilst also being able to personally respond to clients!
