THE M BAR Ltd has been supplying bars for the Event industry since 2015 and caters for many events including weddings, parties, christenings, village fairs, corporate summer picnics, promotional events, new product releases and much more! Simply if you need a bar they have all you need to ensure your event is one to remember.
What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
To enable us to to provide a quote all we need to know is the approx number of guests, location of the event, access to the event such as stairs, lifts, access times and if you would like us to obtain a Temp events notice of your behalf, the time you would require us to start the bar along with the end time.
We also try to meet our customers every need so if you would like a certain drink behind the bar we would be more than happy to stock it.
On selecting the correct bar for your venue it would be useful to know the space you have dedicated to the bar area so we can ensure we bring an appropriate shape/ sized bar and equipment.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
If I can give any advice about providers within the industry it is to make sure your provider understands the legal process for running events taking into account licencing, necessary insurance and Health and safety.
If you are requesting bottled wines for your guests I would advice asking for samples prior to ordering to ensure they meet your every requirement, asking about the cooling of the drinks prior to the event "no one likes warm beer or prosecco" along with set up times and arrangements for a takedown.
I would always say if you don't feel comfortable or able to talk to your supplier then it is likely that they are not the supplier for you.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
Back in 2013, the M Bar team started life in the Marquee and Events hire industry, undertaking the erecting of marquees for events, weddings, parties along with hiring all the associated items.
In 2015 the M bar team set up their first mobile bar company which went from strength to strength.
In 2016 due to health issues and with regret it was decided that we sell our marquee company and place all of our efforts on growing our mobile bar company, this went from strength to strength gaining large amounts of work and becoming recommended suppliers for a number of venues.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
Add to Event is a great platform and I am pleased with the progress we have made in growing our business.
The simplicity of the platform along with its attention to detail has made my job a whole lot easier and I have recommended this platform to many of my associates within the events business.
