What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
For us to provide a comprehensive and accurate quote, it would be ideal if we had the date of your event, the number of guests you are expecting, the type of event (wedding, charity event etc), if there is a particular theme, if you have a potential venue and the type of hire you would like us to quote you for, for example, full bar service, welcome drinks, mix & match or dry hire! The more information we have means we have create a bespoke quotation to meet your exact needs. We are really flexible about the service we can offer and we are open to any ideas and suggestions you may have. Our experience in the industry also means we can give you lots of helpful hints and tips to make your booking or celebration that extra bit special.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
My advice would be to ask the mobile bar company about the various different options. Quite often the provider comes up with some great ideas and alternative options that might suit you to the ground. I'd always ask what products they use too! For example, unlike many other mobile bars, we only use Prosecco from the bottle rather than from the keg. It's much fizzier and fresher from the bottle! Who want's flat fizz? We are also able to provide vegan options with our drinks menu also! Another question to consider asking your provider is if they have a minimum spend our they charge extra for travel over a certain distance. Those little extra charges can certainly add up! Finally, I would also ask about their experience within the industry and ask for references or recommendations. If a mobile bar can't provide this for you, I'd ask yourself why!
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
I've had over 15 years in the hospitality, events and wedding planning industry. I love both the planning and organising of an event, but also being able to meet with the individuals and their friends/guests during the actual celebration. It gives me great satisfaction seeing an event or celebration I've helped to plan come together on the day! I love how individuals can put their own spin and stamp on the day to make it really bespoke to them. Finally, I love working within this industry. It's social, friendly and I get to meet some great people! Knowing that The Bubbly Box is mine, something that I've worked hard to create and that I'm passionate about is rewarding in itself! What's not to love?
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
I've had so many enquiries and bookings via Add to Event. It provides me with a great platform to show The Bubbly Box to event organisers and those looking for a quirky mobile bar! The support from the Add to Event team is amazing also! One event that sticks in my mind was a last minute booking for a private charity event. The organisers had been let down by their current bar! Thankfully we were able to step in and provided a bar service for over 150 people as well as provide a cocktail masterclass! It went really well and we have since had another booking from the same people
