What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Your main priority in our eyes is who will be working with you at the event, check if a company are outsourcing staff if that is something you require. All the bars we provide will always come with either Ellis or Nicole (company owners) so you know the service is going to be of a higher standard or that more care will be taken. You can be provided with the latest and best equipment or a lower price to match a quote, but it all matters about what happens on the day so you need people that know what they are doing, but most of all who actually care.
Ask about previous events and look for anything personal they may have done, you want someone who is passionate about what they are offering so they should always brainstorm with you and come up with extra or alternative ideas.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
After 3 years working alongside TML (tents management limited) a marquee and catering company listed on Add to Event, we (Nicole & Ellis) decided to purchase our own bar and work solely on our passion, bartending. We have a love for creating cocktails and want to share that with others, providing high-quality service of it and witnessing people enjoy our creations.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
We have only been on Add to Event for around 8 months now and have already been confirmed for 3 bookings, with many more in the pipeline. We have seen how it works through TML and it seems like such a great service, it offers so many options and helps start-up business from being able to branch out online that to just be booked through word of mouth.
