My Wonder Bar
My Wonder Bar is a mobile bar service that can cover all drink requirements, based in Leicester but can go all over the country and provide whatever type of mobile bar is needed. They also provide a few tips when hiring a supplier.
What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
For us to be able to provide with a quote for a mobile bar, we would need to know the date, time and location of the event. The number of guests is also very useful for us.
Do you want a cash bar? A prepaid bar? Maybe both? If you let us know, then we can put together a great bespoke package to suit your needs, as well as any particular drinks that you would like us to provide for you.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
It is very important that any mobile bar you use has the relevant licenses for your event (TENS). This will ensure that your event is legal.
What are the drink prices? It's important that your guests are getting good value for money. Don't forget that mobile bars can usually provide you with your bespoke drink menu, whereas most bars and pubs don't have that flexibility.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
With my best friend running a marquee company, and my partner being a children's entertainer, there was always something missing when people wanted to organise an event. That is when 'My Wonder Bar' was created. A mobile bar service where you can provide a bespoke menu for guests and visit many different venues made this a very easy decision to do. The feedback we get from providing such a great service makes it all that extra special.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
Add to Event is fantastic! A platform where anyone organising an event can find you. What I love about this, is that it is a two-way thing. Customers can look for you, but you can also find them. Finding customers when I first started was incredibly difficult due to the high amount of competition. But this site makes it so much simpler. I can give a quote, and even call them to discuss our service in more detail. I just wish I had found this site sooner!!
