What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

In order to provide a comprehensive quote first we need to know the type of bar required, i.e. prepay, pay / cash bar, dry hire or a combination of both. Next whether you need our fabulous horsebox bar, or amazing indoor popup. Finally the location of the event, number of guests and required service times, and we'll send you a tailored quote.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Think about the quality of bars, service and drinks you want for your event. There are a lot of providers out there offering 'free' bar hire when you guarantee a minimum number of guests paying cash. However make sure you are happy with the style of the mobile bars, the experience of the staff, the products on offer (especially where cocktails are concerned), and how much the drinks actually cost! Our unique bars are a spectacle in themselves, all our bartenders are full-time professionals, we use only the best, premium cocktail ingredients and stock premium spirits, craft beers and fine wines and Champagne, with options at a variety of budgets. We're passionate about what we do, and that shows when it comes to your special occasion.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

The Adventurer is the brainchild of three cocktail bar professionals who wanted to take the same high standards of drinks, service and styling from their combined 30 years in the trade in London, Oxford and worldwide, and bring them to your event. Our vintage converted Rice Beaufort horse trailer and mobile pop up bars are a labour of love, and we inject the same passion and exacting standards into every event. It is our mission to bring the same luxury bar service to your event as you would expect in the top bars of the world.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

We were introduced to Add to Event by a food caterer we met at an event we were also catering. We had no idea of the potential for such a platform to introduce customers to event professionals. The first time we were booked for a wedding through Add to Event stands out for us. It is always a privilege to be a part of someone's big day and we have been lucky enough to bring a bit of mobile luxury to many a big day now!
