Gnosall Mobile Bar is a family-run business who provide mobile bars throughout Staffordshire and beyond. Despite a very large range of drinks available in stock, Gnosall are happy to order in extra drinks to create a bespoke menu. Gnosall Mobile Bar also have a range of wedding accessories for hire, further diversifying their service.
What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
For us to provide a comprehensive quote to a customer, we need to know the date, what the event is, a rough idea on guest numbers and where the event is being held. This information enables us to work out exactly what equipment and staff we need to put offer our best possible service.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
The first thing to ask is do you travel to our location? Many mobile bars don't travel too far from home. The next thing to find out is if the company has a minimum spend or minimum guest policy. Many mobile bars ask for large deposits which they keep back if a minimum spend isn't taken. The final thing which is good to know is how many staff do you bring. Too few staff can mean long queues at the bar.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
Gnosall Mobile bar as a company was a natural progression from a hobby. Starting out about 10 years ago as a favour for friends. Both owners have been in the hospitality industry for many years and have a love and passion for offering professional services for all budgets. We believe people on a budget should have access to services that often cost the earth.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
We have had quite a few bookings through this platform and as a relatively new business it has been a great way to bring in new clients. One of our first events was a charity event that needed a bar for free. We were able to not only help the charity raise money but also gave a percentage of our profit to the charity. The hosts were incredibly happy with our service and we have had quite a few events that they have recommended to us. I have recommended Add to Event to lots of my contacts in the hospitality industry and I know a lot of them have now signed up and are using Add to Event regularly.
