What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
When quoting for potential clients, we like to know the proposed date, location of the event, if the site has running water & electricity. We also like to know what the access is like as we are usually towing a trailer. And also how close to the event building we can park for loading/unloading.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I would always suggest checking reviews and for certain events asking for references. Discuss your requirements in detail to avoid disappointment and to ensure you are getting the service you require.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
We started our outside catering company in 2015, previous to that we ran a local Bar & Restaurant. When we gave up that business we wanted to be out on the open road, since then we have grown from outside catering in hired gazebos to owning our own fleet of four trailers, marquees, outside bars, and have also moved to a new site where we now run a seasonal Bar & Grill on a holiday park.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
I have had many bookings through Add to Event, being apart of it has helped me grow as company. We recently organised a wedding bar for a client, the weather was perfect, the clients were excellent, and all in all we had a very profitable day. We had some great feedback and reviews on our social media platforms just from this one event.
